Pat Sapinsley

Pat Sapinsley was the principal of Sapinsley Architecture, which she started in 1982. The firm won awards from numerous architectural organizations and publications including the American Institute of Architects and the Architectural League. Prior to starting her own firm, she worked for Richard Meier and Partners and Croxton Collaborative, both in New York City. She has taught at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, the Pratt Institute, the Parsons School of Design, the City University of New York and the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies.

Pat Sapinsley holds a BA from Hampshire College and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is co chair of the Committee on the Environment (COTE) of the NY chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
