Prior to joining COFRA, Michelle Riley was Vice President and Co-General Counsel of ICON Capital Corp., a global asset manager and speciality finance company based in New York. Prior to joining ICON, Michelle worked in private practice in the New York and London offices of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where she specialized in cross-border mergers & acquisitions and transactional private equity.
Before joining Paul, Weiss, Michelle worked in private practice in the London office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where she specialized in cross-border mergers & acquisitions, private equity fund formation and project finance. Michelle received her law degree from Yale Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal on Regulation. She also holds academic degrees from The George Washington, D. C. University and Oxford University and is admitted to the New York bar.
Michelle Riley is also responsible for legal matters of COFRA NY and Bregal.
