Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer

Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer is responsible for the turbine power cluster focusing on the North American markets. Since joining Good Energies in 2002 he has built up the wind portfolio and is expanding the reach to include run of the river hydro and other turbine power related renewables.

Prior to his appointment Mr Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer was General Manager of Fossil Canada, a division of Comark Inc., an apparel fashion Retail Company in Canada. He managed the opening of four full-priced pilot stores and one discount outlet store before recommending to the Comark Board an exit strategy. The concept was successfully sold without financial or human resource loss.

Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer has over 25 years of business experience working in senior executive roles principally in the European retail chain C&A in various European countries including the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany and the UK. He worked both in the regional marketing functions as in the central national buying departments. He was one of several senior executives involved in the set up of the EBSCO (European Buying Services Company) Organisation in Brussels, Belgium and Düsseldorf, Germany. Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer was responsible for the central purchasing and marketing functions of the Children's department catering to over 500 stores Europe wide. His principal task was to consolidate the 8 national buying and marketing functions of the children's department of C&A into one European central organisation.

Jean-Louis Brenninkmeijer was educated in the UK and Germany and earned a degree in marketing in Antwerp, Belgium in 1984.
