Prior to joining Good Energies, Jan Nikolaisen worked as Senior Business Strategist for COFRA Holding AG in Zug, Switzerland where he was responsible for the development of the COFRA group strategy and business development. He worked extensively on the development of the business plan for Good Energies.

Previously, Jan Nikolaisen worked as a management consultant for Bain & Company in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As a consultant and case team leader he was responsible for executing projects, mainly in the field of growth strategies, post-merger integration, and Private Equity (commercial due diligence/target company assessment). His clients were located in The Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany and Scandinavia. He also worked as a commercial lawyer for Thommessen, a leading Norwegian law firm, where he specialized in corporate law and M&A. Furthermore, he has worked in the group legal department for Storebrand ASA, a listed Norwegian asset management, banking and insurance group.

Jan Nikolaisen holds an MBA from IESE in Barcelona, Spain and is a Cand. Jur. from the University of Oslo, Norway.
