The core investment criteria of Good Energies are:

  • Companies with outstanding growth potential in one of our investment areas: solar, wind, project finance and development as well as energy efficiency and green building
  • Strong partnership prospects, high integrity and transparency among a team of experienced professionals combined with the continuous strive to develop leading and cost-efficient technologies in the renewable energy sector
  • Meaningful investments and long-term involvement through venture capital, growth capital, public stakes

Within our five investment areas we are mainly interested in companies that are active in the following segments:

Solar Solar photovoltaic up- and downstream companies as well as project investments in development, construction and operation of renewable energy assets in solar.
Wind Companies using new technologies or materials for wind energy generation as well as project investments in development, construction and operation of renewable energy assets in wind.
Green Building and Energy Efficiency Breakthrough technologies and systems that increase building energy efficiency, deliver building integrated renewable energy, or cut energy use in building construction.
Investments in the Developing World Commercial investments in developing countries in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector that return both profits and high social benefits.
Research and Development / Game Changers Potential breakthrough technologies in renewable energy generation as well as energy storage and efficiency.
