Good Energies Foundation

The Good Energies Foundation is a Swiss registered foundation and part of the COFRA Group Philanthropy. Its mission is to alleviate poverty by mitigating climate change. Specifically, the foundation seeks innovative, market-driven models to address one specific area of climate change mitigation: reforestation. Our partners offer new solutions for greening the earth - while generating proceeds that contribute to their sustainability. As temperatures rise, we believe that innovative solutions are urgently needed to prevent the future displacement and impoverishment of the world's most vulnerable populations. As of 2012 the Good Energies Foundation focuses on supporting as incubator financially sustainable reforestation models. The Good Energies Foundation is a strategic and pro-active supporter in the field and therefore does not take unsolicited applications.
